The Riviera-Chablais Hospital, Vaud-Valais (HRC), is an inter-cantonal reference hospital, bringing together more than 2,000 employees. The Rennaz Hospital Center has more than 350 acute care beds. It is complemented by two Geriatrics and Rehabilitation Clinics as well as two medical on-call services. To complete our medical secretariat of the orthopedics department, outpatient sector, we are immediately looking for a:
Medical Secretary - 40% to 60%
Presence days are scheduled for Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. However, the ability to adapt to schedule changes is essential.
The main tasks of this position are
- Welcome and assist patients during consultations
- Manage telephone calls, mail, and email processing
- Manage appointments and medical scheduling
- Draft, type, and format medical reports
- Ensure follow-up of medical files and document flow
- Coordinate with medical-care and administrative teams
- Participate in the proper organization of the secretariat across different departments
We require
- A diploma as a medical secretary (or an equivalent recognized title)
- Experience in an orthopedics department is an asset and experience in the medical and/or hospital field is desired
- Mastery of medical and pharmaceutical terminology
- Proficiency in standard office tools (MS Office) and specific professional IT tools (MosaïQ, Soarian, Medex, Ultragenda, Portpat, Opale, Frisbee) is an asset
- Excellent command of French, both spoken and written
- An engaged, conscientious personality with a good sense of service
- A sense of responsibility, organization, and planning
- Kindness, rigor, and discretion are part of your working style
- You appreciate human contact and teamwork
