Every month, we transfer AHV/IV pensions to over 215,000 people. To make this possible, employers, self-employed persons, and non-working individuals pay contributions. The compensation office of the canton of Zurich has 257,000 contribution-liable members.

Our responsibility is to ensure that all incomes are correctly accounted for and the AHV/IV contributions are paid. This is our mandate from the federal government, and we also do it in the interest of our members, because unpaid contributions must be financed in solidarity by everyone – from the AHV fund. For this reason, debt collection is an important task.

Your responsibility for debt collection includes the entire debt enforcement process, from processing the payment order to recording a loss certificate. In the debt collection team, we need not only your numerical understanding but also your communication skills, as you have frequent contact – both in writing and by phone – with various authorities and with debtors. Of course, that’s not all. Various additional tasks complement and enrich your new role.

You convince us with your skills.

We expect a commercial education (profile E or M or equivalent business school). In addition, you have several years of professional experience in the debt collection field. You are proactive, act independently, and enjoy working with numbers. You are open, willing to learn, and like to work independently, carefully, and efficiently. You think in a networked way and can flexibly handle the challenges of a dynamic environment.
