The Humanitas nursing home (APH) in the Rauracher district is a meeting place for residents, relatives, guests, and around 152 employees, and holds an important position in the south of Riehen with its seminar rooms, the public restaurant «Rosis Garten», and much more. In five different business areas, we offer care, support, and assistance to 111 elderly people.
Your main tasks
- Production in various areas such as cold kitchen, production kitchen, meal service, à la carte restaurant Rosis Garten
- Preparation of age-appropriate nutrition
- Support in apprentice supervision
- Daily cleaning tasks in the station area
- Participation in team meetings and further training
- Compliance with hygiene regulations and the HACCP concept including various cleaning tasks
Your profile
- You have completed training as a chef EFZ with several years of professional experience, preferably in a nursing home.
- Experience in community catering as well as in the à la carte kitchen is an advantage
- You have experience in the Garde Manger and/or Patisserie station and have an affinity for age-appropriate cuisine
- Trainer qualification is an advantage
- You convince with a friendly, confident, and customer-oriented demeanor
- You are motivated to work in a motivated team
- You are committed, competent, and flexible
- You demonstrate social skills in dealing with residents, guests, and employees and always work solution-oriented
