Specialist Engineer: Railway Safety Systems IA and AA 80–100%

These are your tasks

• You independently carry out engineering work for safety systems and control technology.
• You ensure the reliability, availability, and safety of railway infrastructure systems while also keeping an eye on cost-effectiveness.
• You further develop the railway safety systems, monitor them via monitoring, plan and lead maintenance projects, and create their concepts and processes.
• You assist with maintenance and monitoring activities on signal box systems (IA and AA) and control technology.
• You are involved in execution work on signal box and control technology systems (IA and AA).
• You ensure professional support for other departments within SZU.

These are your key competencies

• You have completed training in the field of electrical engineering (technician HF) and bring several years of professional experience in the field of railway safety systems (signal box and control technology systems).
• Ideally, you have already completed training as an SA technician IA and AA.
• You cope well with irregular working hours and are willing to work at night or on weekends.
• You have good hearing and vision as well as a healthy constitution.
• You have good PC skills, very good German language skills, and hold a category B driving license.
