Technical Specialist for Measurement Methods and Instrumentation

For a new competence center (CC) for Measurement and Testing at cross-ING AG in Villigen, we are looking for a specialist for measurement methods and instrumentation with experience in metrology and as broad a base as possible in handling various measuring instruments.

Your Responsibilities

• Customer focus: You are committed to understanding and meeting the needs and requirements of our clients.

• You advise project managers and clients on measurement-related questions

• Organization and execution of various measurements and tests

• Formal documentation and analysis of tests and measurements

• Interaction and building collaboration with local partners

• Process-oriented development and execution of hardware-related software as well as manual and automated testing methods for component characterization

• Collaboration with the competence center for knowledge management to build and secure know-how

• Participation in the competence center

• Willingness to build a team

You bring the following qualifications

• You have completed a basic training in precision mechanics, a completed engineering BSc degree is an advantage

• Further training (e.g., AUKOM) in measurement technology and relevant experience of 2+ years

• Experience in testing technical systems with various testing instruments and tools

• Very good German skills and good English skills

• Good communication skills

• Independence and flexibility

• Creativity, teamwork, and quick comprehension

• Strong conceptual, analytical, and solution-oriented thinking and action

Advantageous:

• Experience in high-tech laboratory environments and/or metrological measurements

• Experience in software testing

• Experience with real-time embedded control systems and testing of medical devices
