Teacher for Sports and Movement Kindergarten and Primary Level

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a committed teacher for sports and movement in kindergarten and primary school starting April 1, 2026. The position is limited until July 17, 2026. Workload: 40%

You will work closely with the class teachers and promote the joy of movement as well as the motor development of our children.

The Rietberg Montessori School is a private day school for children aged 3 to 12 years, working according to the pedagogy of Maria Montessori. Our goal is to accompany children in their holistic development and enable them to develop into independent, self-confident, and community-capable personalities.

Tasks in the area of sports and movement

Preparation, implementation, and evaluation of sports and movement lessons for primary school children in collaboration with and under the supervision of the class teachers
Promotion and support of sports and movement activities in the kindergarten groups
Writing development reports in the area of sports and movement for primary school students
Independent organization and coordination of the primary school football tournament
On-site contact person for all gymnasiums
Control and maintenance of sports equipment (orders are placed through the secretariat)

Your profile

Completed training as a sports teacher or a comparable pedagogical qualification
Enjoyment of working with children of primary school and kindergarten age
Interest in Montessori pedagogy and openness to its implementation
Independent, structured, and reliable way of working
Teamwork skills as well as good communication skills in dealing with children, parents, and colleagues
Organizational talent and sense of responsibility
