The Geneva Foundation for Sociocultural Animation is a partner institution, funded by the Canton and municipalities, whose mission is to promote and maintain social cohesion in the canton of Geneva, that is to ensure the quality of the relationship between individuals and society. Through socio-educational, sociocultural, and associative field actions carried out by centers and outreach teams, the Foundation meets the population's needs in terms of meeting, exchange, solidarity, citizenship, quality of life, with a general objective of preventing social exclusion.
Act as an interface between residents, the institutional network, and local dynamics. He/she prioritizes listening, orientation, and connecting rather than taking charge, within a logic of prevention and citizen participation, under the mandate of the City of Vernier and the HBM Emile Dupont Foundation.

Job Description
- Active presence in the buildings (office hours, door-to-door, informal availability).
- First-level individual support and orientation towards competent services.
- Mediation of daily situations and prevention of neighborhood conflicts.
- Development of collective actions promoting meetings and mutual aid.
- Networking with social, associative, and municipal actors.
- Social observation of the site and reporting useful information to public action.
- Welcome, inform, and guide residents.
- Facilitate access to rights and local resources.
- Support resident initiatives and accompany small-scale collective projects.
- Work closely with concierges and professional partners.
- Participate in coordination spaces and produce regular reports.
Qualifications
- Capacity for social analysis and field diagnosis.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a listening attitude.
- Skills in mediation, community work, and group facilitation.
- Knowledge of the Geneva socio-health network.
- Autonomy, adaptability, and ability to work outside the classic institutional framework.
- Bachelor's degree in social work or equivalent.
- Experience desired in local intervention, social mediation, and/or community work.

- Salary according to the Geneva State pay scale: maximum class 15
