Firmware Electronics Engineer

We are seeking a talented and motivated Firmware Electronics Engineer to join our dynamic team in Switzerland. Responsibilities
In the frame of developments for space applications, you will be responsible for:
- Development of firmware for several space projects
- Follow up of schedule, deliverables, reviews, action items
- Alignment of the developments with the PA/QA plan
- Participation to test and verification campaigns
- Configuration and documentation management
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
- Master’s degree in micro-electronics or equivalent
- Good knowledge of FPGA design and verification
- Proficiency in VHDL and/or Verilog
- 5-10 years of experience, preferably in the space domain
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment
- Fluency in English
Valued experiences
- Experience with synthesis and place and route
- Experience with timing constraints and timing closure
- Experience with RTL simulations
- Experience with SoC
- Knowledge of Vunit, OSVVM or other simulation frameworks
- Knowledge of Microchip/Xilinx FPGAs and their tools (Libero and Vivado)
- Knowledge of Linux and virtualization (docker)
- Knowledge of ECSS/DO254/IEC 61508
- Knowledge of high-speed digital interfaces (e.g. 1Gb ethernet, SpaceWire, DDR SDRAM, …)
- Knowledge of Python
- Knowledge of electronics design
