You will join the Perception team to play an important role in developing full-stack autonomous driving systems for private grounds, using elements from Embotech's core autonomous driving tech and elements from external suppliers. Your role will involve designing, developing and testing perception and localization software and systems for safe autonomous vehicles for driving in the domain of automated logistics (i.e. automated trucks) and vehicle factories (automated passenger cars). Responsibilities
Requirements
- Design, develop and optimize perception
- MSc or BSc in robotics, mechanical or algorithms for autonomous driving on private electrical engineering, CS or similar field. grounds.
- Test the perception stack in simulation and driving sensors (LiDAR, camera), and real-life test setups i.e. our own test vehicles. perception and localization algorithms.
- Document code, designs and test results
- Proficiency in C/C++ and Python. concisely.
- Cooperate with systems engineers, software is a plus: engineers and controls engineers to deliver a
- ROS, OpenCV, PCL. well-integrated full autonomous driving stack.
- Perform reviews of requirements, test
- Autonomous vehicle safety standards. specifications and code.
- Stay current with latest advancements in the motion planning, mapping etc. field to continuously improve and adapt
- Rust perception systems
