Nursing Expert APN

On our interdisciplinary surgical ward in the medical area of head, musculoskeletal system and ageing, we care for patients from the specialties of hand surgery and plastic surgery, ear, nose and throat diseases, skull, jaw and facial surgery as well as orthopaedics and traumatology.

What to expect

• You independently conduct nursing assessments and clinical examinations and derive evidence-based interventions
• You advise and educate patients and relatives and promote self-management
• You help design complex treatment pathways and promote continuous care
• You coach nursing teams in challenging clinical situations and strengthen their professional competence
• You develop, implement and evaluate evidence-based nursing concepts and bring new insights into practice
• You are committed to the shared governance team for high nursing quality and sustainable improvements
• You work closely with the nursing experts in the medical area

What you bring

• Master of Science in Nursing (MScN) or in training for it
• Several years of professional experience in an acute hospital is an advantage
• Enjoyment of complex clinical issues and interprofessional collaboration
• Initiative, sense of responsibility and enthusiasm for innovation
• Passion for evidence-based practice, quality development and research
