Overview
In this position as Field Engineer (international service technician) at SKAN, you will be part of a great team with a strong team spirit that takes care of the maintenance, qualification and calibration of our systems in the field. The equipment ranges from older models to highly modern filling lines. Both the training provided by our SKAN Academy and your several years of professional experience as a Field Engineer will help you quickly find your place in our environment.
With a high amount of travel activities within Europe to the customer sites, you can expect exciting challenges, new cultures and the opportunity to apply your expertise internationally. The assignment usually takes place on a weekly basis (Mon-Fri), sometimes over a period of two to three weeks.
Responsibilities
Maintenance of our machines in the field
Qualifications, re-qualifications and inspections of SKAN systems / products in the pharmaceutical environment
GMP compliant documentation of test protocols
- Calibration and adjustment of sensors
- Filter integrity testing and ventilation qualification
- Replacement and repair of components as well as troubleshooting of SKAN systems
Hardskills
Basic technical training and/or higher technical education qualification (mechanical engineering, mechatronics, polymechanics or similar)
A few years of experience in the international service technician environment is ideal
Experience in GMP environment or in the field of isolator technology desirable, but not a must
German and English business fluent
Due to the high amount of travelling required, we recommend a permanent residence in the Basel / Allschwil area or the openness to relocate there
