We are looking for a committed personality for our location at Zurich Airport immediately or by arrangement as a Dispatcher 100% (m/f/d).
The position consists of dispatching and lean management/project work. This way, you combine analytical and process-optimizing activities with operational planning and coordination in day-to-day business.
\n\n\nWhat you do\n\n
- You accept mail items, sort them, and forward them according to specifications
- You register offloads in the system and ensure that all information is recorded correctly
- You coordinate with the customer regarding changes in flight capacities
- You resolve backlogs and always keep an overview of the individual process steps
- You ensure compliance with all safety and shipping regulations
- You check the short connex and ensure that all shipments are processed on time
- You ensure that the individual flights are processed correctly in the right order
In the area of lean management/project work, you are responsible for the following activities:
- You support the introduction, support, and further development of the FIEGE Lean Management System in cooperation with the management at Zurich Airport and the head of lean management
- You take on projects, moderate workshops, and train employees in lean methods
- You analyze existing processes, derive improvement measures, and implement them to sustainably optimize operational and administrative processes
- You process and create statistics, evaluations, and reports
- You have professional experience in the warehouse sector, ideally in air freight
- You are physically resilient, as lifting and moving heavy shipments are part of the daily work routine.
- You have a strong affinity for data analysis and structured work
- You have a precise and independent working style, even in a dynamic and time-critical environment
- You have good German skills in spoken and written form, English skills are an advantage
- You have a flawless security check for the last five years as well as a clean criminal record
