Team Lead Product Content & Merchandising (80-100%)
Are you excited to shake up Swiss online retail with GONSER and further advance the webshop with strong sales content?
As Team Lead Product Content & Merchandising, you will be responsible for the strategy, implementation, and further development of high-quality, sales-promoting product content for our webshop. You will continuously develop the product presentation with the help of your small team, incorporating sales psychology insights. Create shopping experiences that inspire and showcase our products in the best light with your expertise.
Your Challenge
- Further development of the product content strategy in the online shop with a focus on customer needs, trends, and growing product areas
- Ensuring high-quality, sales-promoting, and compliant product presentation in text and image
- Optimization and management of processes for content creation, approval, and maintenance, including coordination of external service providers
- Close collaboration with purchasing, marketing, SEO, Data/BI for continuous improvement of product presentation
- Data-driven optimization of product detail pages based on defined KPIs such as conversion rate, time-to-market, etc.
- Planning, execution, and evaluation of structured content testing (e.g., image styles, text variants) to improve customer experience
- Expansion of strategies for content automation and further development of supporting tools
- Professional leadership, coaching, and operational support of the team
What Matters to Us
- Min. 2-3 years of professional experience in product content, merchandising, or UX in a digital environment, ideally in the e-commerce sector
- Solid strategic understanding of customer experience and sales-oriented product communication, as well as the ability to adopt the customer perspective
- Sense for appealing visual and textual content with high quality standards
- Solid experience in analyzing content performance and data-driven optimization
- Proficient in SEO fundamentals for search engine-friendly optimization of product content
- Targeted communication, high initiative, and structured working style
- Experience in collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, ideally first leadership experience
- Knowledge of ERP and PIM systems (e.g., with PlentyONE) is an advantage
