In this versatile role, you contribute to legally securing our organization, proactively fulfilling regulatory requirements, and acting as a trusted contact person for both internal and external stakeholders.

The exciting range of tasks:

• Assessing legal issues with a focus on financial market law (FIDLEG, FINFRAG, FINIG, collective investment schemes) and asset management
• Handling legal questions in other areas of law (AML, AIA, FATCA …)
• Monitoring and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations
• Proactive, pragmatic advice to governing bodies and employees
• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and client agreements as well as legal support for projects
• Monitoring relevant legal and regulatory requirements
• Optimizing and implementing internal directives and processes
• Clarifications in business relationships and transactions with increased risks as well as handling KYC inquiries from counterparties
• Conducting internal controls (ICS) and preparing reports and notifications for management and authorities
• Conducting training for employees and external business partners

This is how you convince us:

Education / Experience

• Lawyer (MLaw from a Swiss university) or banking education with comparable additional qualification in Legal & Compliance
• Several years of practical experience (at least 3 years) in a financial institution in the area of Legal & Compliance
• Extensive knowledge in the relevant legal areas of a private bank
• Knowledge of legal research and documentation tools
• Strong ability to communicate complex content clearly
• Knowledge of Avaloq and proficient use of MS Office and common applications

• Native language: German, very good English skills
