About the job
You are responsible for setting up the restaurant and managing the service operations during ongoing business. Furthermore, you are responsible for the following tasks:
- Ensuring consistently high guest satisfaction through professional and personal care
- Establishing and implementing service processes, standards, and responsibilities before the opening
- Planning and implementing pre-opening measures such as training, test services, and soft openings
- Operational management of a service team of around 25 to 30 employees
- Scheduling, leading, and developing the service team including temporary staff
- Active participation in operational business, especially during the start-up phase
- Confident and solution-oriented handling of complaints and special guest requests
- Maintaining relevant guest information in the hotel software
- Responsible handling of personnel, materials, and costs
- Analyzing guest feedback and deriving concrete improvement measures
- Close cooperation with the kitchen and adjacent departments to ensure smooth operations
You bring leadership experience, organizational strength, and a pronounced service understanding and:
- have completed training as a restaurant specialist (m/f)
- ideally have further training in restaurant management or have attended a hotel management school
- have mandatory experience in the opening of gastronomic establishments
- have experience in luxury hospitality in a comparable leadership role
- have successfully led operational teams of comparable size
- are proficient with Microsoft Office and common POS systems
- act in a structured, independent, and responsible manner
- remain resilient, flexible, and actively pitch in daily
- present yourself as a host personality and work team-oriented
- have very good German and English skills in spoken and written form; additional languages are an advantage
