As our project engineer for transformers, you will modernize and expand Switzerland's high-voltage electrical grid. With your expertise and commitment, you contribute to the success of Axpo as well as the Swiss power supply. In this role, you take on responsibility and enjoy the freedom and flexibility to bring in and implement your own ideas and solutions.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Technical project management of power transformers, reactors, and integration into the high-voltage grid
- Detail engineering, specifications, and procurement of power transformers and high-voltage components
- Responsible for the transformer and inductive high-voltage components department
- Preparation of ESTI submissions including procedural support
- Monitoring and controlling quality, deadlines, and costs
- Diagnostics and condition analyses for asset management
- Support of operational operations and commissioning of transformers
Profile & Requirements:
- Completed studies at ETH / FH / University (field of electrical engineering) or equivalent knowledge and skills
- Project experience in high-voltage technology
- Several years of professional and industry experience in the field of energy transmission and distribution
- Knowledge of operational aspects to operate a transformer, as well as knowledge of applicable legal and regulatory requirements (ESTI & High Voltage Ordinance)
- Systematic and methodical approach and a flair for argumentation and presentation techniques
- Independent, goal-oriented, reliable, and a team player
