You oversee the strategic management of stocks — from our supplier partners as well as our factories — and ensure their optimal distribution among our various international hubs.
Your mission: to guarantee exemplary availability of our parts and components, in order to keep our customers moving and support the ongoing transformation of our Services. You also handle urgent supply requests with a solution-oriented mindset and responsiveness – whether it involves shortages, flow acceleration, or activation of critical circuits.
By joining BOBST, you directly contribute to strengthening the performance and operational excellence of an industrial leader committed to innovation and sustainable customer satisfaction.
Main missions
- Operational management: Oversee the execution of operational tasks such as purchasing, replenishment, stock balancing, and managing excess recall campaigns.
- Shortage management: Anticipate, monitor, and resolve shortage risks by applying the group's methodology and workflow, in coordination with the Master Planner.
- Team management: Lead, develop, and manage an international team of over 40 people, spread across multiple sites, promoting operational excellence, performance, and continuous improvement.
- Logistics development: Participate in defining and optimizing the inbound logistics model, in collaboration with supply chain and logistics teams.
- Supplier performance management: Drive supplier performance improvement plans, define alternative solutions in case of shortages, and collaborate with Purchasing and Supply on Demand teams.
- Manage stock shortages regardless of their causes.
- Implement escalation and emergency handling procedures.
- Service transformation: Actively contribute to the implementation of service transformation (TMS, consolidation of logistics platforms, export supplier support, etc.).
- Tools and process optimization: Define, implement, and ensure adoption of tools and processes (KPIs, planning methods, data quality, etc.) within the team, and contribute to the development of new tools (PTC Servigistics, SAP MM, Jaegger, etc.).
Profile sought
- Proven experience (minimum 8 years) in service supply chain: planning, procurement, logistics execution.

- APICS certifications (CPIM, CSCP, CLTD) or equivalent appreciated.
- Operational mastery of SAP MM and SD in purchasing and distribution management.
- Experience in continuous improvement (Lean Six Sigma, DMAIC, PDCA, etc.).
- Knowledge of MEIO tools (PTC Servigistics, MCA, Baxter, Synchron, Toolsgroup SO99…) is a plus.
- Availability to travel up to 20% of the time.
Personal qualities
- Strong analytical skills and quick learning ability in a complex environment.
- Autonomy, dynamism, and ability to unite multidisciplinary and multicultural teams.
