About the job

Logistics specialists in the warehouse field are responsible for the proper storage of goods. They receive them, check them, and then record them in the computer system. Using forklifts or special conveyor machines, they supply the goods while considering various criteria. When an order arrives, logistics specialists prepare the goods for delivery or shipping, pack and label them, create the delivery documents, and load the vehicles. They also regularly check the inventory levels to ensure that there are never too many or too few goods.

• University of applied sciences, e.g., Bachelor of Science (FH) in business administration or industrial engineering
