Our team in the Department of Civil Engineering ensures user-friendly management of the road and path network as well as public facilities, forests, and bodies of water. To complement our team in the maintenance operations area, we are looking for immediately or by agreement a
YOUR TASKS IN THIS ROLE INCLUDE:
- Maintenance, upkeep, and cleaning of public green spaces, city trees and their underplanting, paths, and public squares
- Creation and modification of facilities
- Maintenance and mowing of meadow areas including combating neophytes
- Maintenance and care of cemetery planting and preparation for burials
- Maintenance, repair, cleaning of vehicles and equipment
- Winter service both mechanically and manually
- Assistance with all tasks in the maintenance operations area
- Assistance at events and deployments, also outside of normal working hours (weekends; on-call winter service)
YOUR PROFILE IS A GREAT FIT IF YOU:
- have completed training as a landscape gardener EFZ or maintenance gardener EFZ
- have some professional experience in the field of horticulture
- have good PC user skills and possess a category B driver's license
- enjoy working in a small team and are team-oriented, resilient, and loyal
- bring joy to a well-maintained public space
