Shape the mobility of tomorrow in one of the most dynamic municipalities in Switzerland. Mobility management in the team of the Develop-Plan-Build department.
Allschwil is an innovative municipality with 22,000 inhabitants, making it one of the largest municipalities in the Basel agglomeration. Its proximity to the city shapes its character without losing its independence. Society, space, and economy are developing rapidly and dynamically. Traffic development is a constant challenge.
For our Mobility Management platform in the Develop Plan Build department, we are looking for a committed personality as of February 1, 2026, or by agreement.
Your tasks
• You actively shape the traffic and holistic mobility development of the municipality of Allschwil, especially in the development areas Bachgraben and Binningerstrasse.
• You develop incentives and offers together with internal specialist departments and external partners to promote the switch to public transport as well as pedestrian and bicycle traffic.
• You coordinate cooperation with cantonal authorities, especially in the areas of traffic and economy.
• You support companies and institutions in the development and implementation of sustainable mobility concepts for employees.
• You prepare technical decision-making bases (monitoring, key figures, evaluations) and process them appropriately for reports and political documents.
• You design and lead information and communication measures such as workshops, campaigns, or events.
Your profile
• Completed training as a traffic or spatial planner or a comparable qualification
• Knowledge in mobility, traffic, or sustainability management
• Strong interest in mobility issues and in managing modal split
• Several years of experience in project management
• Conceptual strength as well as pronounced communication and moderation skills
• Independent, initiative, resilient personality with high team and social competence
• Very good IT user skills, confident written expression; GIS knowledge is an advantage
