Deputy Shift Supervisor

To strengthen our Mono plants in Visp, Switzerland, we are looking for a Deputy Shift Supervisor.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

• Responsible for onboarding and further development of employees
• Ensuring smooth shift operations and organizing all work orders as well as responsibility for shift handover
• Ensures contact with external operational authorities (porter / on-call / fire brigade) in case of an incident
• Leads the team regarding tasks, priorities, breaks, and absences.
• Ensures the implementation of required work in the assigned work area under the applicable guidelines (safety, environmental protection, and quality)

Qualifications and experience:

• High commitment to strengthening the safety culture
• Experience as a plant specialist in chemical production or service companies and in handling process control systems
• Preferably completed CPT or CPP apprenticeship (formerly certified operator) or willingness to start it
• You are interested and willing to learn new technologies and continuously further your education
• Committed, flexible, and reliable personality
• Motivation for shift work (including night shifts and weekends)
