We are the leading intercultural education center for the topics: bridge offers, care, health, hotel management-housekeeping, social and childhood pedagogy, facility management, and further education.
At the Department of Higher Vocational Schools, adults are trained in 2- to 3-year degree programs with the qualifications Social Pedagogy HF, Childhood Pedagogy HF, Facility Management Operations Management HF, and Department Head: Hotel Management-Housekeeping FA. Students attend practice-oriented and competence-based modules with us from August to July. More than 50 lecturers teach and accompany a total of over 500 students on their way to a successful tertiary qualification.

Tasks
- Face-to-face teaching in various classes with about 22 students each
- Planning and implementation of asynchronous distance teaching
- Participation in the creation and evaluation of competency assessments
- Cooperation in developments in the SP/KP area and at the HF department
- Possibly additional assumption of study, practice, and portfolio supervision
Content focus:
- Communication, cooperation, and power (approx. 51%),
- Psychology with a focus on developmental psychology and sexual development (approx. 35%),
- Sociology (approx. 17%) as well as
- Social pedagogical action competencies (approx. 15%)

These modules can additionally be combined with a percentage share of accompanying tasks (workload: 6-16%)
Content focus:
- Accompanying and advising students as practice supervisors (representing BFF)
- Among other things, conducting conversations between students, practice trainers, and the Higher Vocational School
Requirements
You have a tertiary-level degree in one or more of the mentioned module focuses or related disciplines. You bring several years of professional experience in the area of your degree or related fields, preferably with a clear reference to social pedagogy. You can look back on a solid methodological-didactic training for the tertiary level as well as teaching experience, have an equivalent qualification, or are willing to complete this alongside the teaching activity. You are interested in promoting comprehensive learning processes of students with different educational and professional backgrounds. You act as a communicative, flexible, and integrative personality and can easily approach different people.
