Our public works department provides valuable services for the infrastructure and the entire population of Wald. As a complement to our team, we are looking for a
Your area of responsibility
- Accompanying and supporting funerals
- Work in the cemetery (maintenance, upkeep, repairs)
- Supervision of the cadaver room and logistical coordination
- Maintenance work on playgrounds, sports facilities, and parks
- Waste management for clean infrastructure
- Control of neophytes (combating invasive species)
- Mowing work on road edges, footpaths, sports fields, parks, and playgrounds
- Planting summer/winter flowers (park area, cemetery)
- Participation in winter services (irregular deployments including weekends and nights)
- Maintenance of municipal inventory and properties
- Operation and maintenance of machines and vehicles
- Services for public festivals and events (also on Sundays and public holidays)
- Maintenance work on municipal roads and parks such as repairs, cleaning, signage
- Tasks in water maintenance and care of green areas
- Maintenance work in other areas of the depot, hiking trails, nature conservation, utility lines
Your profile
- Completed basic vocational training EFZ (specialist in operational maintenance, road/garden construction or comparable qualification)
- You have a category B driving license and live in the municipality of Wald or nearby
- You enjoy working outdoors, are healthy-fit-robust and have good communication skills
- You are willing to perform on-call duty
