Your new role
You are responsible for the construction and maintenance of waters and especially for the monitoring and safety of dams and pond facilities. These tasks mainly include drafting applications for political authorities, supporting specialized engineering offices in project development, managing tendering processes, leading construction measures including schedule and cost control as well as construction accounting. In addition, you assess object protection evidence submitted in the building permit process for their plausibility and comment on water body distances. Furthermore, you accompany the designation of water body zones in the city of St.Gallen. In the course of your work, you maintain close cooperation with cantonal specialist offices.
This position is for you if
- In addition to your training as a civil or environmental engineer or as a HF technician in civil engineering, you have several years of professional experience, ideally in hydraulic engineering matters.
- You are characterized by an independent and solution-oriented way of working.
- You have an open personality with strong communication skills.
- You enjoy value-based teamwork as well as exchange with expert committees, departments, and the public.
- You have a confident handling of common PC applications.
