Cultural Officer, 50 to 60%

Wädenswil is an attractive town on the left shore of Lake Zurich with around 25,600 inhabitants. More than 350 employees work in the city administration, providing comprehensive services to the population on a daily basis.

The cultural sector of the city of Wädenswil is to be newly organized. Therefore, we are looking for a committed personality for the newly created position starting from
February 1, 2026, or by arrangement.

Your areas of responsibility include

• Development of a cultural concept with a mission statement and multi-year planning
• Maintenance of the network and promotion of networking among cultural creators and cultural consumers
• Processing of cultural grant applications
• Planning and execution of city events
• Advising cultural event organizers and cultural creators
• Link between authorities and cultural creators

Your qualifications

• University of applied sciences degree in artistic or humanities/cultural studies with further education in management, e.g., MAS in Cultural Management
• Several years of professional experience in a similar role
• Methodological knowledge in consulting, cultural and project management
• Innovative approach and structured working style
• Very good oral and written expression in German
• Communicative, empathetic, and creative personality
• Solid IT user skills
