Facilities Manager (m/f/d)
What this job entails
The Facilities Manager (m/f/d) will be the sole point of contact responsible for facility management and will support the regional manager as well as the corporate real estate team in providing high-quality facility management services. This position coordinates and manages tenant requirements as well as service deliveries to ensure their satisfaction.
What does your workday look like?
- Supporting the area manager in implementing short- and long-term projects for the customer project
- Developing and implementing innovative programs, processes, and procedures that reduce short- and long-term operating costs and increase productivity through close collaboration with the facility management leader and the customer.
- Monitoring appropriate monthly/quarterly/annual reporting for the customer.
- Overseeing the development and management of capital and expense budgets through close coordination with the customer representative
- Developing and implementing innovative programs, processes, and procedures that reduce short- and long-term operating costs and increase productivity through close collaboration with the facility management leader and the customer.
- Developing monthly/quarterly variance reports for all operating budgets for each property on a timely basis
- Supporting the development and implementation of the annual management plan for the buildings in the area
- Ensuring smooth daily operations, communication, and needs of the corporate tenant areas.
- Preparing regular tenant financial reports, including invoicing, credits, and operating cost statements for both customer and corporate tenants.
Your personal profile
- At least 6 years of industry experience either in a corporate environment, with external service providers, or as a consultant
- Strong organizational and leadership skills in matrix organizations; supervision of technical and administrative staff
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong presentation skills
- Knowledge of MS Office and MS SharePoint
- Computer skills in CMMS/work order systems
- Monitoring supplier performance during normal and outside working hours, including weekends as needed
- Highest security clearance (Top Secret)
- Experience with critical environments/laboratories
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering and knowledge in real estate, telecommunications, furniture, accounting, and building systems would be desirable
