- Responsibilities and ensuring the basic medical care of asylum seekers in the center, taking into account existing guidelines (BEKO, SEM manual - access to medical care for asylum seekers and processes in BAZ, guidelines for handling remedies, BAG manual outbreak management and ORS processes)
- Conducting and organizing an effective triage based on urgency and severity, followed by coordination with medical organizations (emergency, rescue organizations, doctors, dentists)
- Providing initial medical care in emergencies, nursing measures, and medically ordered measures
- Organizing, advising, and partially personally conducting regular training for non-medical caregivers/center management in the area of basic medical care/procedures in emergencies and prevention
- Ensuring contacts and the flow of information to doctors, counseling centers, and other specialists
- Ensuring the daily consultation hour
- Responsible for the care and management of medical files
Requirements
- Tertiary education: Higher professional examination or equivalent (Federal diploma / postgraduate studies HF)
- Dipl. Nursing Specialist HF / FH
- At least 2 years of professional experience in acute medicine
- Team ability, high social competence, and sense of responsibility
- Composure in dealing with difficult situations and openness to different cultures
- Organizational talent and planning ability
- Basic and user knowledge of MS Office applications
- Impeccable reputation (no entry in the debt collection and criminal register)
