About the job
The Directorate for Security, Environment and Energy is committed to safety, protection and assistance, environmental protection, sustainable energy supply, and is responsible for building permit procedures as well as the Bern Zoo (Dählhölzli + Bear Park). In the Zoo , we primarily convey knowledge about European animals and their habitats.
Activities
- Cleaning (office, floors, toilets, facade, roofs)
- Maintenance work on buildings and the site (roofs, doors, sanitary, winter service)
- Handicraft work (assembling racks, shelves, signs, etc.)
- Assistance with internal logistical tasks (shopping, material transport)
- Holiday cover for cleaning staff
Profile
- Completed vocational or technical training as well as experience in cleaning
- Independent, reliable working style and physical fitness (no fear of heights)
- Driver's license category B including trailer as well as aerial work platform license (or willingness to obtain it)
- Willingness for occasional weekend assignments
- Good German skills in spoken and written form
