Is this helpful?
At Limeco, it's about the quality of life in the Limmattal. We work today for tomorrow. With our commitment to regional heating, environmentally friendly electricity, clean water, and healthy air, we are focusing on a sustainable future.
With the Limmattal Energy Center (LEZ), we are realizing one of the most significant and long-term infrastructure projects in the Limmattal. Waste, wastewater, and energy infrastructures are being developed into a modern multi-energy hub that ensures safe disposal and sustainable energy supply for the region for the coming decades.
After completing the preliminary project, we are now preparing for the construction project and implementation phase. For this crucial stage, we are looking for an experienced, team-oriented, communicative, and implementation-strong overall project manager who will lead this multi-year project on the client side and take central responsibility for the successful realization of this generational project in the Limmattal.
Your background
You have a completed technical degree (ETH, FH, or equivalent) in a relevant field such as civil engineering, electrical engineering, process engineering with experience in power plant or plant construction.
Ideally, you have a project management certification (e.g., IPMA, PMP, or equivalent), possess corresponding methodological competence, and have experience in public sector projects or with comparable public-law structures.
You bring several years of experience as an overall project manager in the realization of complex, interdisciplinary infrastructure projects.
You have experience with different execution models (TU, GU, GP, etc.) and their operational control on the client side.
You are used to structuring complex projects, making decisions, and consistently implementing them.
You have very good knowledge of public procurement as well as tenders and contract management.
You are strong in negotiations and confident in dealing with internal and external stakeholders.
You have very good German language skills, both spoken and written.
Your tasks
You take over the operational overall project management for the Limmattal Energy Center (LEZ) on the client side from the construction project phase to commissioning.
You are responsible for the operational control of the project regarding costs, deadlines, quality, and risks.
You work closely with an internal project team of qualified specialists and ensure effective, structured collaboration. Experienced project managers for the subprojects ARA and KVA and a PMO support you.
You make decisions within the defined project mandate and implement them together with the project team.
You are responsible for tenders and procurements and manage cooperation with planners, service providers, and subcontractors.
You ensure effective quality assurance as well as active risk, contract, and claims management.
You professionally represent Limeco as the client towards partners, authorities, and other stakeholders.
You act consistently in the interest of project success and prioritize the best possible solution for the overall project.
What we offer
You take on a responsible key role in one of the region's most important infrastructure projects and significantly shape its implementation over several years. With us, you can expect modern infrastructure and a dynamic work and living environment. The atmosphere is family-like, characterized by appreciation and respect. Short communication paths enable us to make decisions easily and efficiently.
We work passionately, future-oriented, and sustainably. Five weeks of vacation (six weeks from age 50), above-average social benefits, discounted conditions for private mobile phone subscriptions, private parking, 15 days paternity leave / leave for other parents, various health initiatives, and free waste disposal are just some of the benefits you will enjoy with us.
Have we made you "curious"? Then offer Limeco your power and apply online!
