About the job
The city of Dietikon is the fifth largest municipality in the canton of Zurich and at the same time the district capital in the Limmattal with over 28,000 inhabitants.
For our gas and water supply in the infrastructure department, we are looking for a committed personality as of September 1, 2026, or by arrangement
Your tasks
- Versatile and demanding work in our gas and water supply
- Maintenance of groundwater pumping stations as well as reservoirs and gas supply systems
- Inspection, monitoring and maintenance of the pipeline network Replacement of water meters and gas meters
- Assistance with meter reading Cleaning of well facilities
- Valve inspections
- Hydrant inspections and revisions
- Assistance in the administrative area On-call service
Your profile
- Completed apprenticeship as a sanitary installer and/or further training as a water caretaker
- Used to working outdoors Teamwork skills
- Driver's license category B
- Willingness for on-call duty
