Office for Agriculture and Geoinformation | 80-100% | Chur
The Office for Agriculture and Geoinformation is a service of the Department of Public Economy and Social Affairs. It includes the four sections: agricultural measures, structural improvement, surveying, and the GIS competence center.
The structural improvement section makes a substantial contribution to the sustainable development of rural areas. Its diverse range of tasks includes, in addition to agricultural construction and housing promotion, civil engineering measures as well as regional development projects. The civil engineering sector staff deal with comprehensive land reclamation, renovation of agricultural roads, water supply for alpine pastures, electricity supply, material cableways, and restoration of infrastructure following natural events. They monitor the implementation of various projects, act as the cornerstone and point of contact for cantonal and federal specialized offices, advise clients and engineering firms, and are the first point of contact for procedural law issues.
We offer a varied and responsible activity within the cantonal administration. Work within a motivated team that values short decision-making processes, specialist expertise, and a goal- and service-oriented working method.
