For the 2026 intake, the nursing teams are looking for their future nursing and care assistant apprentices AFP.
Job Description
You will join a care department at HUG and during your apprenticeship, under the responsibility of the nursing staff, you will provide support to patients in daily care. This includes managing personal hygiene, feeding, mobilization, and comfort care.
Additionally, you will perform housekeeping and logistics tasks. You will be responsible for disinfecting equipment, surfaces, and managing materials. Thus, you ensure a hygienic and safe environment within our institution.
Qualifications
You will be 16 years old by the start date, have successfully completed compulsory schooling, and have passed an EVA test.
You show interest in health and social care fields.
You are a good listener who wants to understand others' needs and wishes to contribute to care teams. You demonstrate courtesy, tact, and discretion.
Your hygiene and sense of cleanliness are impeccable.
Friendly, you enjoy teamwork and communicate easily with your interlocutors.
You have an interest in the hospital environment and are ready to commit to a professional training alternating work in a company, practical courses, and theoretical lessons at school.
