At Implenia, we actively shape the digital future of our organization. As an internal cross-functional unit, we work closely with the specialist departments as well as a variety of IT service providers and partners to provide innovative and stable IT services.
To strengthen our team, we are looking for a motivated Junior IT Vendor Manager with a willingness to learn, who acts as an interface between the specialist departments, Legal, and external providers and supports them.
Your workplace is our headquarters in the Ambassador House in Opfikon, with the possibility to also work partially from home office.
What you will do:
- You support IT procurement, especially in tenders (RfX), single-sourcing processes, as well as the drafting and negotiation of IT service and license agreements.
- You maintain and manage contracts in the contract management system, ensuring transparency and up-to-dateness.
- You monitor the performance of external IT service providers based on Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and actively manage their performance.
- You analyze risks in the provider environment and proactively develop measures to minimize risks.
- You enjoy market observation, conduct benchmarks, and identify optimization potentials in costs, performance, and innovation.
- You check invoices and the budget.
- You prepare decision-making bases and contribute to the continuous development of vendor management processes.
Why you succeed:
- You have completed a degree or comparable education (e.g., business/informatics, supply chain, law) and bring at least 3 years of experience in a similar role in an international environment.
- Initial experience in IT vendor or supplier management as well as procurement is an advantage.
- You have basic knowledge of contract law, IT service management, and are familiar with ITIL processes, which you apply practically.
- We expect confident handling of MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel); experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) is desirable.
- You are characterized by strong communication skills, teamwork, and organizational talent; you work structured, methodically, and possess good numerical understanding as well as analytical skills.
- Very good German and English skills, both spoken and written, complete your profile; French skills are an advantage.
