Your tasks

• Provision of safe and reliable vehicles on line 19
• Overall responsibility for the maintenance and high availability of WB rail vehicles
• Technical and personnel management of employees in the Waldenburg depot
• Planning and control of personnel, vehicle, and resource deployment
• Creation of annual, medium- and short-term maintenance planning
• Budgeting and cost responsibility for depot operations
• Planning vehicle availability in close coordination with operations
• Ensuring proper maintenance, repair, cleaning, as well as commissioning and recommissioning of vehicles
• Monitoring compliance with maintenance plans and intervals, quality standards, and documentation
• Ensuring compliance with all EKAS, safety, and health regulations
• Analysis of operational key figures and continuous optimization of maintenance processes
• Use and further development of the maintenance control software ZEDAS
• Ensuring rapid fault clearance on vehicles and supporting operations
• Responsibility for material and spare parts supply in the depot
• Coordination of the repair of collision and vandalism damage including third-party services
• Participation in recruitment and development of employees
• Leadership and participation in technical and cross-departmental projects
• On-call duty and occasional deployment as train driver

Your profile

• Completed technical basic training, with further education
• Several years of professional experience in maintenance, preferably in the rail or transport sector
• Experience in leading employees and teams
• Strong planning, organizational, and coordination skills
• High sense of responsibility, safety, and quality awareness
• Experience with digital maintenance documentation
• Business understanding and experience in budget and cost responsibility
• Analytical and structured working style
• Assertiveness combined with a cooperative leadership style
• Strong communication skills and ability for cross-departmental collaboration
• High initiative and solution orientation
• Willingness to take on on-call duty and irregular deployments (driving service)
• Resilience and decisiveness even in disruption situations
• Confident handling of legal requirements and occupational safety regulations
• Very good German skills in spoken and written form
