The Center for Children with Sensory and Physical Disabilities ZKSK is an interdisciplinary competence center for children and adolescents with physical, sensory, and multiple disabilities. At four locations, we offer educational support, individual medical and pedagogical therapy services, as well as housing options. With psychological and medical assessments and therapies, we support, advise, and accompany children and families. We would like to offer you the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution in our lunchtime care in Trimbach and are looking for one or two active persons for the collaboration in our lively lunchtime operation (Mon, Tue, and Thu noon, 11:30 a.m. to approx. 1:30 p.m.). You actively and independently help to care for our students around lunchtime and subsequently during the break. Together with one or two others, you are responsible for a group of about 5 to 8 lively children with a physical or sensory disability. You set the table, distribute the meals, support the children while eating, teach them table manners, and participate where necessary in personal care (toilet / brushing teeth) and clearing up. Afterwards, you assist with outdoor break supervision. We wish for a person who is present at least two lunchtime shifts per week and is available to us for at least one year (only during school weeks). Requirements
- Practical experience in dealing with children and adolescents
- Experience in dealing with disabled persons desired
