• Establishing and continuously developing the company-wide data governance framework
• Developing and implementing strategies for data management and quality assurance
• Ensuring compliance with data protection and compliance requirements
• Responsibility for master data management as well as supporting data owners and data stewards
• Defining and maintaining policies, processes, and standards in data management
• Building and taking responsibility for the AEW data catalog
• Monitoring and ensuring data quality and consistency across all company areas
• Identifying and minimizing risks related to data management
• Promoting a data-driven corporate culture in close collaboration with various departments
• Training and raising awareness among employees on data management best practices
• Conducting audits and evaluations of data management practices
• Using modern technologies and tools to support data management and analysis
• Regular reporting to management on the status and progress of data management initiatives

• Several years of experience in data management & data governance
• Solid knowledge of data protection, compliance, and regulatory requirements (e.g., data protection laws, industry regulations, audit standards)
• Experience in master data management as well as with data quality and analysis tools
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills combined with high problem-solving competence
• High quality awareness and willingness for continuous improvement
• Excellent methodological and process competence
• Strong communication skills and convincing stakeholder management
• Fluent German in spoken and written form is required
