Coordinator for the Master in Specialized Nursing Practice (MScIPS)

The University Institute of Training and Research in Care (IUFRS) of the Training and Research Department of the CHUV is looking for a coordinator at 80% for the Master in Specialized Nursing Practice (MScIPS), starting June 1, 2026, within the framework of a one-year fixed-term contract.

The hired person will work under the responsibility of Jessica Frei, academic assistant at IUFRS. Job sharing is possible.

Context

The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. In collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, it plays a leading role in care, research, and education.

Since its creation in 2007, the University Institute of Training and Research in Care (IUFRS) has contributed to the academic development of nursing sciences in French-speaking Switzerland.

The Institute allows nurses to pursue academic training in nursing sciences (Master and Doctorate) and to develop clinical and scientific leadership, particularly in the field of advanced nursing practice.

At the same time, IUFRS conducts research activities aimed at developing innovative, effective, and efficient clinical practices.

To fulfill its mission, the Institute maintains an extensive network of institutional, scientific, and clinical partnerships at local, national, and international levels.

Mission

• You coordinate the Master in Specialized Nursing Practice (MScIPS) program
• You ensure direct teaching activities
• You contribute to the development and quality of the MScIPS program
• You actively participate in the institutional life of IUFRS.

Profile

• You hold a Master’s degree in Specialized Nursing Practice, Nursing Sciences, or an equivalent qualification
• You have experience in advanced nursing practice
• Ideally, you have experience in university teaching.
