Head of Finance and Donation Accounting
Are you passionate about future-oriented finance and donation accounting as well as transversal financial processes at the interface of stakeholders at home and abroad? Do you have an affinity for digitalization and agile working methods as well as a strong service orientation? Then you can sustainably help shape the future of one of the largest Swiss aid organizations in an important key position.
We are looking for a dynamic, innovative, and integral personality as
Your main tasks:
- Personnel management of the finance and donation accounting team
- Operational overall responsibility for finance and donation accounting according to Swiss GAAP FER 21, Swiss Code of Obligations, and ZEWO:
- You and your team manage all main and subsidiary ledgers in Business Central
- You lead the consolidation process for integrating the 15+ international country offices into the consolidated annual financial statements
- You actively contribute to the further development of HEKS-wide financial processes and independently lead digitalization and optimization projects in the area of financial accounting
- Overall responsibility for payment transactions, bank management; participation in liquidity planning and foreign currency management
- You and your team are responsible for donation accounting and ensure the efficient and purpose-compliant booking of all donations in the restricted fund capital
Ideally, you bring the following:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, specialization in finance & accounting or comparable training in finance and accounting (expert in accounting and controlling, federally certified auditor)
- Several years of professional experience in a comparable position (team responsibility, project management, management of financial accounting and consolidation)
- Business fluent English (mandatory), business fluent French (desired)
- High degree of independence and willingness to actively contribute
- Enjoy leading employees and collaborating with diverse internal and external stakeholders
