About the job
G&F Châtelain, a branch of Chanel SARL, is Chanel's watchmaking and jewelry manufacture in Switzerland. Responsible for developing, manufacturing, and assembling the brand's watches and jewelry, our site brings together a wide variety of trades combining artisanal know-how and very high technology.
You will join the teams of our Production department, serving ceramics as a Visitor.
Reporting to the Ceramic Service Coordinator, you are the first person responsible for the quality of ceramic watch components. Your expertise directly contributes to maintaining the requirement and excellence of our products.
Your impact at Chanel
At the heart of watchmaking and jewelry activities, the production department is responsible for transforming raw materials into finished products, ensuring that each step of the process is carried out with precision and quality.
Within your service, you guarantee the inspection (aesthetic and technical) of parts in production and support production.
All your activities to ensure optimal and efficient monitoring:
- Perform aesthetic checks according to defined quality criteria on ceramic watch components.
- Be responsible for the quality of components put into stock.
- Inform the manager of any variation observed in the quality of components and contribute to the continuous improvement of processes.
What you will bring
You have proven experience in the aesthetic control of watch components, ideally in ceramics, and you perfectly master the quality criteria of the sector.
Comfortable with computer tools such as MS Office and ERP, you know how to manage documentation related to quality monitoring efficiently.
Autonomous, rigorous, and precise, you demonstrate excellent visual acuity and a keen sense of detail.
Discreet and reliable, you also have a true spirit of initiative: your sense of observation and your ability to report any quality variation are essential for this position.
Finally, you appreciate collaboration while knowing how to work independently and in an organized manner.
