Job Description
- Manage stock and food orders for the service in the absence of the Pastry Chef
- Making tarts, entremets, biscuits, chocolates, and other desserts
- Preparation of Banquets
- Preparation of desserts in the restaurants
- Respect company standards
- Ensure that all hotel standards are adhered to
- Manage the organization of work within the pastry section in the absence of the Pastry Chef
- Control cleanliness and good condition of pastry equipment in the absence of the Pastry Chef
- Follow hygiene and food safety and equipment standards
- Conduct service briefings and inform colleagues of special preparations, changes, stock shortages, etc. in the absence of the Pastry Chef
- Ability to make decorative pieces in sugar, chocolate, or ice is a plus
- All other tasks assigned by supervisors
- Compliance with HACCP standards
Qualifications
- 3 years of significant experience as Pastry Chef de Partie or 2 years as Sous Chef in a similar establishment
- CAP / BEP Pastry or Professional Baccalaureate in Pastry
- 3 years of significant experience within a brigade
- Available for the smooth running of the service
- Ability to work in a team
- Pastry diploma
- Ability to manage multiple requests simultaneously and handle last-minute changes
