Vocational Training Manager

The Merian Iselin Clinic is a state-of-the-art private clinic with a public service mandate in Basel. Our focus areas are orthopedics, surgery, and urology. With us, you will find meaningful work in a family environment where people are at the center.

Your main tasks

• Responsibility for the EFZ training programs (FaGe, MPT), HF/FH (nursing, OT) as well as achieving the training objectives
• Professional and individual support of trainees, taking into account different performance levels
• Implementation of the training concept and support of trainees in professional and personal learning processes
• Coaching of trainers and conducting training and further education
• Contact person for all questions in the field of vocational training
• You actively participate in the selection and recruitment of trainees
• At least 20% activity in direct care, also on the learning island ward

Your profile

• Completed training as a certified nursing professional HF/FH
• Completed SVEB 1 or SVEB 2 further training or willingness to complete the federal specialist certificate for trainers
• Strong communication skills, confident handling of young adults, flexibility, and openness
• Several years of professional experience (advantageous in the acute sector), teamwork skills as well as competent and communicative collaboration in the interdisciplinary team
• High professional, methodological, and social competence as well as quality and service awareness
• Independence, commitment, resilience, as well as a dynamic and solution-oriented working style
• Organizational talent and structured working method
• Confident handling of IT (MS Office, KIS)
• Native German speaker, English and French skills
