Psychotherapist in training (40% or 60%)
Profile:
The internship is aimed at psychologists holding a master's degree or license who need to carry out clinical practice as a psychotherapist in training in view of completing the training aimed at obtaining the federal diploma of specialization in psychotherapy (PsiCo).
Necessary requirements
- master's degree, license, or diploma in psychology according to Art.2 LPPsi, or only for EU countries: foreign title + any state certification + recognition of the title by the Federal Office of Public Health PsiCo;
- be enrolled in a training program in psychotherapy provisionally or definitively accredited. Exceptions are possible for individuals residing in Switzerland who complete the entire training abroad but intend to return to Switzerland upon completion;
- enjoy a good reputation and possess the necessary mental and physical requirements for the profession;
- predisposition to human contact, motivation to work with patients, communication skills, relational skills, and flexibility;
- ability to work both independently and in a multidisciplinary team;
- excellent knowledge of spoken and written Italian and possibly a second national language;
- essential knowledge of the main IT tools (Office package);
- knowledge of the territory and the socio-health network of the Canton of Ticino;
- permit for foreign citizens or alternatively a declaration issued by the regional service for foreigners certifying the pending application for the permit.
Start date: depending on service availability.
