At the Meiringen Private Clinic, people with all forms of mental illness find admission, treatment, and care. The third largest psychiatric clinic in the canton of Bern is open to patients from all over Switzerland and abroad and is responsible for inpatient psychiatric basic care in the eastern Bernese Oberland. At the PZJE (Psychiatry Center for Young Adults), we treat young adults aged between 16 and 25 years with disorders from the entire spectrum of psychiatry with comprehensive psychiatric-psychotherapeutic treatment. The center has 30 beds and is divided into a crisis intervention area and a psychotherapy area. Treatment is based on the latest evidence-based medical, therapeutic, and nursing knowledge.
Your tasks
- Therapeutic case management of inpatient patients under supervision
- Responsibility for admission, diagnostics, and multimodal therapy in an interprofessional team
- Conducting psychotherapeutic group sessions
- Weekend and late shifts as well as occasional night shifts at the PZJE
Our expectations
- Swiss or Switzerland-recognized medical diploma.
- Experience in diagnostics, dealing with, and treating mentally ill patients is an advantage.
However, we also welcome career starters or those from other specialties with a strong willingness to learn the field. - German language level at least C1
