Our Language Service is responsible for the correct and stylistically confident translation and proofreading of texts in four languages in the field of intellectual property and ensures the coordination of assignments in this area. These include, among other things, demanding legal texts, documents for national and international professionals, as well as print and online publications.

What to expect with us
- You translate German and, if applicable, English texts from all areas of activity of the IPI into French, using Trados Studio and machine translation (post-editing).
- You ensure the quality of internally and externally translated texts.
- You edit and correct French texts.
- You are responsible for project management of the IPI Language Service (Trados Team) for at least two months.
- You help build and maintain the company terminology for the French language (Multiterm).
- You actively participate in the technological development of the system landscape.

What makes you successful
- You have a completed master's degree in translation or multilingual communication with German as the source language and French as the target language.
- French is your mother tongue and you have excellent German and good English skills.
- You have experience with AI-assisted translation.
- Confident writing style, quick comprehension, and networked thinking ability.
- You are committed, team-oriented, proactive, and work reliably and precisely.
- Ideally, you have good knowledge of the federal administration and Swiss political institutions and have an interest in intellectual property.
