Office for Culture | 50% | Chur
We are looking for a restorer for the Bündner Kunstmuseum starting January 1, 2026.
Your area of responsibility
- Conservation and restoration care of objects within the framework of collection maintenance, exhibitions, and loan traffic.
- Planning of restoration and conservation measures and execution of restorations.
- Conservation care of exhibition rooms and the depot as well as training of all staff in handling, mounting, care, and storage of objects.
- Documentation.
What we expect from you
- Completed university degree in conservation and restoration for paintings and sculptures.
- Experience from freelance work or in museum operations.
- Manual dexterity with good knowledge of materials science and art technology as well as conservation and restoration methods.
- Proficiency in common text and image editing programs.
- Independent working style as well as pronounced organizational skills.
- Knowledge of a second cantonal language.
