To strengthen our housekeeping team, we are looking for a cleaning specialist (m/f/d) 50% immediately or by arrangement.
Important: Assignments possible on all weekdays including Saturday and Sunday.
You have a strong sense of order and cleanliness and feel comfortable both in front of and behind the scenes? Then you are exactly right with us at Volkshaus Basel!
Your mission
- Cleaning and maintenance of public areas (restaurant, bar, reception, event rooms, etc.) as well as staff rooms according to specifications
- Additional tasks in our laundry
- Support with room cleaning as needed
- Regular use of all kinds of cleaning machines
- Proper handling of the specified cleaning agents and materials
- Structured and independent work with a sense of responsibility
- Proper handling of lost property
- Compliance with our quality and hygiene standards
What scores with you:
- Neat appearance and good manners
- Experience as a cleaning staff in the hotel and gastronomy sector is an advantage
- Willingness to work flexible hours during the week, on weekends, and occasionally in the evenings for special events
- You are reliable, punctual, responsible, and an early riser (shift starts from 6:00 a.m.)
- Physical resilience
- Team spirit, independence, and commitment are a matter of course for you
- Good spoken German skills
