About the job
Case management for assigned cases across the full spectrum of child and adult protection law in collaboration with the internal clarification service, the audit department, and the legal service Own clarifications with the affected persons and their environment, conducting hearings, procedural decisions (e.g., commissioning expert reports, appointing procedural representatives, obtaining information) Decisions made individually (including super-provisional measures), decision preparation and participation in the decision-making body of the interdisciplinary collegial authority in a three-member panel Participation in the interdisciplinary strategy meeting and taking over daily responsibility Supervision, instruction, and advice for guardians If suitable, interested, and with relevant professional experience, there is the possibility of advancement to vice presidency or co-vice presidency
Master's or bachelor's degree from a university of applied sciences in social work or a university degree (licentiate or master) in law, psychology, or pedagogy Specific further training (e.g., CAS in child and adult protection, hearing of children, social law) is an advantage Several years of professional experience at a KESB, a professional guardianship office, a court, or another branch of public administration related to social or pedagogical topics Strong conceptual and analytical thinking Decision-making and implementation strength with a forward-looking orientation Clear and target-group-appropriate communication, confident appearance Very good self-organization and high resilience Personality with life experience and understanding of people in difficult situations Driver's license category B, own vehicle for external appointments is an advantage
