We are looking for a Software Installation Engineer who is enthusiastic, curious, and motivated—whether you are beginning your career in high‑tech healthcare or bringing experience from a similar role. This position is based in Switzerland.
K ey Responsibilities
In this meaningful role, you will:
- Perform on‑site installation and upgrades of our Oncology Information Systems and related equipment, directly supporting our mission to advance cancer care.
- Travel across the EMEA region to meet customers and collaborate with local clinical teams; most installations last approximately one week.
- Conduct software upgrades during weekends, as required in our clinical environment, where minimizing disruption for patients is essential.
- Travel frequently—approximately 50–75% of your time—with the support of a team that values safety, flexibility, and work‑life balance.
- Join a high‑performing, inclusive team where colleagues support each other, celebrate diverse perspectives, and collaborate openly.
- After comprehensive world‑class training, take ownership of installation, testing, and handover of life‑impacting software solutions.
- Work both independently and in small project teams, supported by a strong global network ready to advise and guide whenever needed.
Minimum Required Skills & Qualifications
- Degree from a Technical Institute or University in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
- Knowledge of VMWare, Citrix, Windows Server/Client technologies—any of these is an asset.
- Experience with Domains, Active Directory, MS SQL, and system‑level troubleshooting.
- Strong willingness and ability to travel 50–75% of the time.
- Fluency in English and German, spoken and written.
- Curiosity and motivation to continuously learn new technologies.
- Ability to work both independently and responsibly, especially when installations are time‑sensitive and impact patient treatment schedules.
- Previous experience in a similar role is a plus, but we highly value mindset, adaptability, and a commitment to high‑quality work.
