Commercial employees "Service and Administration" perform their work in the tension field between customer contact and back office.

The "Service and Administration" sector offers a generalist commercial basic education that takes into account the special features of small and medium-sized enterprises from different areas of the economy.

The structure of the commercial basic education

Duration: 3 years

Vocational School

• 1st/2nd year: 2 days per week / 3rd year: 1 day per week or 2 days (vocational baccalaureate)

• imparts basic commercial skills and general education

• Languages: 1 national language, 1-2 foreign languages

Inter-company courses

• impart basic practical skills

Company training

• takes place in the training company

During their apprenticeship, trainees go through various departments and can participate in various projects:

Departments:

• Purchasing

• Reception

• Finance & Accounting

• Swiss Market

• Global Customer Service

• Marketing Labeling

Projects:

• Co-organization of Future Day

• Organization of the apprentice excursion

• Participation in trade fairs
