Process Engineer for Galenic Production Facilities (m/f/d)
Your Responsibilities:
As a process engineer, you work in the "Business Solutions" cluster and specifically in the "Pharma Engineering Drug Product" circle. As a process engineer, you support existing and new galenic production facilities for commercial and clinical production, which are integrated into the infrastructure. The process plants to be supported have a very high degree of automation and are strongly networked with each other and with higher-level IT systems.
Operations Engineering:
- Operations engineering with the goal of ensuring continuous production
- Strategy and maintenance of plants during the lifecycle
- Collaborative cooperation with interfaces
- Support of our internal customers with technical questions, in defining and initiating investment projects, as well as during regulatory inspections
- Continuous optimization of process plants and evaluating, testing, and recommending new technologies
- Management of plant documentation in the respective systems
- Recording of orders (SAP)
Project Engineering:
- Management and execution of projects in all project phases such as initiation, design, and implementation (independently and with support from internal and external specialists)
- Tracking and maintenance of project data in the respective systems (SAP)
Your Applicant Profile:
- Technical basic education with a completed degree (FH/TU) in pharmaceutical technology, mechanical engineering, or process engineering
- At least 5 years of professional experience in operations engineering and handling investment projects
- Experience as a project manager is an advantage
- Solid understanding of GMP and requirements of process plants and package units
- Teamwork skills and very good communication and coordination skills within the organization as well as appropriate interaction with stakeholders at all levels
- Willingness to work in an agile, self-organized work environment
- Fluent German and English skills, both spoken and written
